Adjutant General's Office records, 1868-1875.

Two ledger books of the Adjutant General's Office, Arizona Territory, covering the period 1868 to 1875, but chiefly 1870 to 1871. The ledgers include the time period during which the Camp Grant Massacre occurred. The ledgers give name, amount of weapons and ammunition purchased, and amounts paid. Many Tucson pioneers are listed including Charles Shibell, Pedro Aguirre, Samuel Hughes, Peter Kitchen, Granville Oury, Sabino Otero, Philip Drachman, Leopoldo Carrillo, Jesus Elias, C.T. Hayden, John B. Allen, and others. A name index is present.
